Pearl Primus

eassy on african dance by pearl primus?
well its your lucky day!
I love pearl primus and had the chance to meet her when I earned a full scholorship to milwakee ballet .
almost ten years after Dunham, pearl primus and had gone abroad to research african dance, Pearl primus was trying to study dance and wanted to do the same and told people that dance was her passion. Unfortunatly for her many told her that she was too ugly or too dark or not the right type. She never gave up though and
overcame all the people who put her down to persue her dream . she impressed and touched everyone she danced for she danced with her soul.
check the link below for her acheivements.
